The Ohio Statewide Family Engagement Center’s Family Literacy Toolkit is a web-based tool with 80 free resources designed to help families collaborate with their local school to support their children's reading development from early childhood through high school.
Organized by age group, the toolkit provides links to information about learning milestones, resources for learning at home, and sample school-home communications. It includes specific questions families can ask teachers about their child’s progress with literacy skills, and information about how families can get help when they want it.
